Welcome to Restoration First Responder Network

Culturally competent mental health counseling, peer support services, critical incident debriefings, training, and command staff consultation.

Honoring our State's Public Servants

Restoration First Responder Network partners with police, dispatch, and fire departments across California, providing top-tier mental-health employee support services. We offer crisis intervention, command staff consultation, direct counseling services, and peer support training and development. Founded with a deep commitment to care for our own, we address the unique needs of first responder families.

What sets us apart is our personal connection to the community we serve. Many of our team members are retired first responders or are closely related to one another, ensuring we understand the challenges and pressures firsthand because we also live them. Our goal is to provide compassionate and practical support, helping first responders and their families navigate the stresses and demands of their crucial roles so they can remain healthy and continue to serve their community.

What Agencies Are Saying

I sleep well at night knowing that my employees have access to the best culturally-competent mental health practitioners around.  The employees know it’s ok to ask for help, and I know they will get it when they ask.  I know this because when I was struggling, Restoration answered my call for help, and I was able to work through my struggle with someone who “got it.”

As the Chief of the Eureka Police Department, one of my top priorities is the health and welfare of our employees.  Sherie Mahlberg and her Restoration First Responder Network have been a Godsend to our agency.  Having access to culturally competent clinicians whose hearts are for First Responders and their families, have left an impact on our agency that has saved lives, families, and careers.  We have removed the stigma of mental health within our walls and our people are winning!
